5 Best Tools for Better Recruitment Results

Recruiters nowadays are more important than ever. Because we now live in a digital era, the marketplace is extremely fast-paced. Being a good recruiter is not all about interviewing and hiring people; it’s also about finding those talents that you want to attract. Each and every big company should take advantage of one or two professional recruiters in order to keep up with the pace.

The recruiter could be considered one of the most important parts of a company. Think about it. If the employees are the engine and heart of the organization, any operation within the organization wouldn’t be possible without them. Or it could, but if the employees are mediocre and unmotivated, the results won’t be quite satisfying.

If a recruiter treats his job seriously, he’s only going to hire a talented and committed workforce. Ok, let’s stop for just a minute and see what exactly a recruiter does:

Whenever a company needs solutions, better productivity, or has job places to fill, the request is passed to the recruiter. Firstly, he must get informed about the primary needs of the company. Secondly, he should start researching, organizing, and ultimately interviewing the potential solutions (new employees).

What Are the Biggest Difficulties a Recruiter Can Face?

Being a recruiter for a big company is surely a complicated job. You’re not the CEO, of course, but you have to deal with a lot deciding factors. Let’s take a look at few of the biggest difficulties that a recruiter can face:

1. A recruiter must assume responsibility for his hiring decisions

If you hire the wrong people, the company will slowly start to show lesser results. That is why being a recruiter often brings the same responsibilities of a CEO. Always make sure that you do the proper research. Moreover, your interviews must be very effective; this way, you’ll avoid issues like hiring employees that won’t bring much progress to the company.

2. Best candidates are always between more sides

Unfortunately, your most talented candidates will have to choose between more parties. In this case, you must create a unique interview experience that your possible employee could never forget. Show why your company’s the best choice, and let them know that you’re already aware of the competition. Make sure that you give them reasons to choose you instead of them.

3. Lack of talented workforce in the market

I'm not saying that talented individuals are missing from the marketplace. BUT; the talented workforce is immediately hired and fought over by other companies, leaving the average up for grabs.

4. Big competition over employees

This problem is highly related to the previous difficulty. There are a lot of recruiters nowadays; it’s not just you who’s looking to fill your company with great people. To be honest, competition is not bad; it makes you progress, makes you want to do more, and makes you want to be better.

Now, in order to improve your recruitment efforts, you should be looking for already established digital software. These digital tools are meant to help you deal with usual issues that most recruiters face. Developing a recruiting proficiency and productivity is just like developing any other skill.

If you’re smart enough, you’ll take advantage of all the possible help that’s already out there. Here are 5 effective recruitment tools that will definitely help you keep up with the market’s pace and improve your recruitment results.

1. SourceHub

SourceHub is the best place to look if you’re looking to find lots of potential employees. It is the best sourcing tool on the whole internet, and I believe that every recruiter should take advantage of it. It basically replaces the need to deal with the Boolean’s operators, rules, and usages. So if you’re not a tech-savvy recruiter, this is the best option.

Here’s how it works: if you want to come across great candidates, you just need to fill in the following strings:

  • The title of the job that you’re looking to fill
  • The skills that you’re looking for in candidates
  • The location in which your company activates

2. Prophet

Prophet is a truly powerful recruitment software that you must definitely take advantage of. This software lets you find out the contact details of your potential employees. Prophet is a chrome extension, so it’s extremely accessible to anyone who wants to use it. The tool helps you in two ways:

a) When you look at someone on Facebook, Prophet will gather all the necessary information that's available on your prospect's other social media channels. It will search for his LinkedIn profile, Twitter profile, and so on. Then, it’ll provide you with everything you need to know about the candidate.

b) The software’s able to uncover people’s contact details by extracting the e-mail address of a social media user. In some cases, it even uncovers the phone number of the prospect. Therefore, reaching out to possible employees won’t take you so much time and effort.

3. Sidekick

Sidekick is a tool that helps you figure out which of your recruitment e-mails are being opened, read, or deleted. By using this efficient tool, you can find out which of your prospects are truly interested in what you’re offering. The tool also tracks down the clicks that are being made and the links that are being opened by your recipients.

If you’re able to figure out which people are interested in your offer and if you can figure out when they’re interested in it, you can increase your chances of recruiting valuable workforce a lot!

4. AustralianWritings

Most of the times, a recruitment process begins with a plan. There are many possible approaches that you can follow, but choosing the most creative and interesting one will often get you more results. Australian Writings is a company that can help you with the creative writing development. They can also create promotional content and support your recruitment efforts big time.

In case you ever want to publish a piece of content whose role is to capture the attention of your possible employees, it must be impeccable. That means no grammar or spelling mistakes, an easy-to-follow structure, and an organized writing. Take advantage of dozens of professional writers and proofreaders and notice how your recruitment process improves.

5. Buffer

Buffer is a social media software that can help you recruit individuals easier and faster. In a few words, Buffer allows you to create an organized posting sequence that takes care of the distribution of your posts. The best part is the fact that you can integrate almost every possible social media network in it.

From there, you can choose – let’s say – a certain piece of content to be published on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Tumblr, all at the same time of the day. Don’t forget that it’s all automated. You won’t spend time creating, managing, and distributing your posts; you can let Buffer do that for you instead.

Conclusion

A company can never accomplish greatness unless the bread and butter of the company (the employees) are skilled, committed, and talented. Recruiting these types of individuals can often be tough. If you choose to take advantage of all the important recruitment tools that are now up for grabs, you’ll notice a huge improvement in your recruitment efforts.

Interesting article! I'd like to introduce an app that uses mobile recruiting technology to bolster recruiters' productivity.

Rakuna Recruit is suitable for campus recruiters who are likely to travel to various campus job fairs and events for candidate sourcing. With this app on hand, recruiters can capture and qualify candidates instantly anytime, removing all data entry and middle work, and reducing chances of losing a university candidate lead.

To make recruiting faster and more effective you need to have a good recruiting software, that will automize all the processes that could be. My advice is to use SignalHire. It's a complete talent acquisition platform with built-in ATS and CRM, that gives an ability to message candidates right from the system and track email opens and replies. In addition, there's also a browser extension that extracts email addresses from LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, GitHub, Meetup, and Google+. This tool will defo satisfy your recruiting needs.

Amazing list guys. You can also add Humantelligence to the list. It is an amazing tool for HR recruiters. Prophet helps you to get information and contact details of the candidates. It helps you to drive a list of hundreds of candidates. But not all of them are useful. It is not possible for you to call everyone for an interview. You have to sort out those candidates who perfectly fitted for the job profile.
