What do you think about prospective candidates who demand clients's name?

Has any of you come across propective candidates who demand to know your clients name? How do you deal with such people especially if they are qualified for a position? I was thinking of writing something where they would sign and promise not to apply directly to the client. Uuuugh!!!

Thanks

Will, are you referring to someone you just recruited and you feel they are perfect for your client but have no resume at this point? or are you referring to a candidate that you already have the resume of. I take it you are not retained in this situation. Let me know and I will try to help
