I am seeking to hire a full time Sr. QA Engineer with exposure to testing Enterprise Application with the following skill set :
* At least 5-8 years experience in testing or development of data-driven web applications or other enterprise software.
* At least 3-5 years of QA Automation experience using standard tool sets open source or non-open source such as QTP, Winrunner, Selenium etc.
* Strong QA skills: planning, bug isolation, bug report writing, and troubleshooting.
* Experience designing and running web stress and load tests.
* Strong communication skills.
* A keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving and testing.
* Excellent working knowledge of the following areas; C#, Ajax, Javascript/VBScript, Knowledge of Windows operating systems and .NET
* Working knowledge on aspects of File Storage (NAS, CIFS)
Essential Job functions include:
* Creates, maintains, and implements feature test plans and test cases to test functional area(s) of the product.
* Participates in reviewing and refining existing test suites.
* Participates in development requirement discussions.
* Contribute ideas toward the enhancement and/or modification of designs to improve the product.
* Represents QA in feature review and planning meetings.
* Contribute to overall testing efforts for all major, minor, and maintenance releases of a product to ensure they perform as designed.
* Troubleshoots issues that are encountered. Executes Cross product regression testing and participates in certification efforts.
* Reviews product documentation and contributes corrections as detected.
* Enters bugs in the defect database, track status and test fixes.
* Develops, executes, and maintains automated test cases designed for functional, system and regression testing.
* Evaluates and implements new tools and frameworks for QA.
* Documents and summarizes test results and reports findings.
* Contribute toward enhancing the QA process.
* Contribute to the entire Development process and the role of QA in it, including participation in design activities and postmortems.
* Assist the Sr. QA Manager in monitoring the status of test progress.
* Hone project and people management skills.
* Begin to own QA initiatives and work closely with the QA Manager to monitor and ensure completion of QA milestones.
* Assist in recreating problems and identifying workarounds for Customer Support.
* Train/Mentor more junior members of the team.
* Other special projects as assigned.
