RFS 2008 - Robert Half Technology

To all my RHT & MR recruiter friends! I just wanted to say that I had a BLAST with you guys and I learned so much! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with me. I feel like I still have a lot to learn but I'm going to try and implement all the new ideas! Friday - 8/1/08 - I was able to get a CTH job order from the IT Director of Business Intelligence @ Rent-A-Center. I was checking a reference of one of my candidates and thought I would try to dig up some information. I was able to dig up an entire job order. I flipped the job order to our North Dallas (Galleria) office. I'll let you know if we actually fill the thing!

Comment by Holli Maestas on August 5, 2008 at 9:03am: 8/4 - Our perm team had brought in a candidate and asked if anyone on the contract side wanted to interview him, so I volunteered. When I started talking to the candidate, I realized that he was a PERFECT fit for the JO that I just picked up from Rent-A-Center. I stopped, told the candidate to hang on for a sec, went back to my desk and grabbed the IT Director's contact information. I went back into the interview, called the IT Director, put the phone on speaker and had my candidate sell himself in a phone interview right there in the interview. The IT Director said he was interested and they are going to want to see him in person next week when the hiring manager is back from vacation. He also gave me the name of HR to confirm that we were already on the vendor list. Fingers Crossed!
