My name is Lori Adams and I'm a new Recruiter for National Express. I am new to the transportation industry and I am hoping someone out there can help me. Durham is a full service student transportation provider operating more than 15,000 school buses; 11,500 in the US & 3,500 in Canada. We are always looking for quality School Bus Drivers. My latest and greatest challenge is locating talent in one of our new territories-HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA. The company hosted a recruiting event in May as an open house or "start up", but since then we've had some fall out. I want to find out the demographics of the area and where I can find relevant talent. Any ideas????

Tough job to recruit for -- I'd done an article on it way-back-when ( http://www.ere.net/2007/08/31/tomorrows-otto-man-strategies-to-steer-drivers-back-on-the-yellow-school-bus/ )
What have you tried so far? What sites?

Were thinking of running an ad in the Huntsville Times and I thought of targeting the military spouses on the base in the area. We will definately have to host another recruiting event for sure. I've posted on all the free sites and yahoo and monster.

Maybe Jobing? Maybe try working through Facebook or Myspace?
