Keeping yourself in the mix, staying afloat.

Well as we get closer to the end of the year we tend to look back over our shoulders and see what kind of tracks we have left throughout the year. I look over my shoulder and I am able to see that I have not to big of an imprint this year. Its been a transitional year as I have moved into a company that has been doing pretty average in sales. I have also found that I keep pretty busy but would it be busy enough if it were my own company? To be perfectly honest probably not, but I am earning my keep by remaining in the mix of things. I have been given more responsibility in my position for both corporate and the staffing side of the business. I look forwad already to the next year coming as I know that my personal goals for what I do here will be much higher that what I gave myself for this year. Is anyone out there feeling the same? Do we see the nature of the business becoming more cuthroat as the economy gets tighter? There is a light at the end of the tunnel, I can see a way through. I just have to keep myself in the mix of thinks and remain active in my networking and strive to push myself harder on the phone. Buck up everyone were all in this together, the only way for our profession to remain on top with the IT and Medical industries is to stick together and network more so our needs can be met with less opposition. Thanks for listening and if you need anything let me know one good turn deserves another. Ramble on and you get it off your chest.
