I agree 100% - Austin is an awesome city (and the surrounding areas). I often wish I had a job in the Austin area. It's just so beautiful and full of life everywhere you turn!! But alas...my job is here in Houston. Maybe one day I'll have enough $$ to move to Austin and retire (sometime around 2035 I'm guessing). LOL!!

This is a great ad. One thing that might be of interest to people in these ads is the state of the local housing industry (I understand Austin's is strong). As a home purchase is one of an employee's largest financial transactions during their lifetimes, and one thing that is stoppering many of today's employment decisions, what's (not) going on in the local community might be of interest.

Great way to market Austin and jobs in Austin! I like the way you think! I'll be visiting Austin for the first time during the Thanksgiving weekend - have any suggestions as 'must sees' for this artsy gal? Thanks much! Cheers, Denyse

Amanda,

I couldn't agree with you more. And one of the more current reasons is that Austin doesn't seem to be affected as much about the down economy like so many other places.

I could probably count 10 personal friends of mine who have relocated to Austin within the last year and each of them is thriving!
