Keen spent a week at NAPS, the National Association of Personnel Services, where I led a thrilling and provocative 2 day certification in Talent Strategy and Retention, the search professionals who joined us were a blast to work with and each and every participant got much more than they bargained for, including me.

Then we were off to the HT tech show, where we were competing for visitors with many of the top emerging HR technology companies. News from the investment floor is that companies are spending or budgeting to spend their money on softwares that enable them to manage their talent acquisition and their talent management more effectively. This includes, full throttle systems that combine candidate attraction systems, recruitment, selection, on boarding, succession planning and retention. Watch for growth of Silk Road as they have a one stop shop for the whole HR Talent Bandwidth. We got some smashing videos of hiring horror stories from the HR floor, some too funny to post.

Before we knew it we were in Jacksonville, Florida with the high powered Pinnacle Society members pitching Keenhire services and how we can impact their ability to build strategic relationships with their key clients.
The jet in, jet out was absolutely worth the time, I met great people, got some incredible feedback and had the challenging opportunity to stand up and give the whole pitch in 30 minutes, soup to nuts. It was great practice and I am clear I still need to refine what I say, how I say it and to get the close in at the right time. Life is a work in process.

ASA was the final stop this time, and it was as always a total blast. KeenHire had a booth and we saw lots of familiar faces and many new ones. There are so many new products coming into the market to serve staffing and search firms, it is almost as if we are not there, we are missing the boat on what is coming down stream.
