The born Job Advertising Index dipped by 4 points in November, signalling the start of an anticipated seasonal slowdown.
The UK's generalist job boards were more heavily impacted by the decline than their niche counterparts, with one large generalist board experiencing a 41% drop in average advertising volumes.
As in October, a selection of job boards owned by newspaper properties moved against the trend and continued to increase advertising volumes.
