I recently joined a start up venture launched on 2nd January 2008 with
Buzzy Jobs (
www.buzzyjobs.com) and
Buzzy Agencies (
www.buzzyagencies.com). The company is privately owned and not part of a group like some of the major job boards in the market place.
Buzzy Agencies - is a website built for Candidates and Clients to find specialist recruitment/employment agencies within it niche Industry/Job Sector. On the website you click on the country you are seeking to find a recruitment agency, then choose the job sector and skill sector and search. You will then be presented with agencies. You can then read the profile add to a basket and continue with other agencies. Then click on basket and you can either send a CV or if your an Employer a Call back or Job Spec to which you would like to fill.
The reason why I joined this small venture was because it allows candidates to be in control of their own CV. When I was looking for work I found that by joining one job board it was then part of a Group which then distributed the CV's across the whole network.
This new Job Board is a new challenge as I originally come a recruiters background in IT and placed candidates with major blue-chip companies. It was easy recruiting then giving trial away for FREE to clients and agencies to advertise their jobs on the website - but no one seems interested and i'm not charging anything until the company build their profile.
We are up against major job boards - but we are not just helping candidates find a suitable job but help smaller recruitment agencies to advertise their jobs and find candidates. As a lot of major job boards hike the prices up and forget about the small businesses. I WANT TO HELP THEM!
BUT NEED YOUR HELP. As the company is small and not backed up by a media company or group - need to help drive traffic to the website to help it grow naturally also looking for candidates who are seeking work to apply for jobs and register for Jobs by Email.
