It seems to me that finding mid level candidates is becoming increasingly more difficult, especially for technology searches. I can still find senior level people... but that elusive 2 - 3 year person with SQL Server 2005 development skills or that extremely customer service oriented help desk analyst are no longer out there and just not reproducing to meet the current demand. I've tried all the local watering holes to no avail... so now I'm going blogging. Any suggestions?

Hey Leslie, maybe you could get in touch with Shally, Jim Stroud or Maureen Sharib. They are all on RecrutingBlogs.com. You can look them up under the members tab. Maybe they have some tips to share.

I had tickets to see Shally when he was in here recently but had an "emergency" at a client site and had to give up my ticket. Everyone who went said it was the best seminar ever!

I missed that event too....Shally has some great info!
Have you tried various networking groups online to hunt these candidates down? If you want to email me what you are looking for, I would be happy to forward it to my husband. He is a developer, and he may know someone that might be interested, since he deals with SQL on a daily basis. You can email me at sherrykarr@gmail.com.
