Okay... I admit it... Traditional networking and headhunting isn't as easy as it used to be. It's difficult to get back into the swing of "dialing for dollars". Any new tips on luring skilled IT professionals who are otherwise 'not looking'? I am still confused about how to go about blogging so any tips on that are also greatly appreciated. I am sure my colleauges would like any tips on using the Internet as a tool as well.

I am a former designer and developer in the IT field. From both a sales and recruiting perspective it is always nice to talk about upcoming technologies and sharing ideas. I don't know how technical you are, but you can be brought up to speed very quickly by simply asking for help. Let's face it, IT people want to talk about IT. This really helps in building rapport with you clients and candidates in the long run, and it often can lead to referrals!
