Add a LinkedIn button to your profile page

For those like me who are sometimes (in my case frequently) challenged about how to make a profile page look better here is how to add a LinkedIn button (one that connects to your LinkedIn profile) to your profile page.

After doing this I invite you to join our Recruiters On LinkedIn group here on RecruitingBlogs.com, http://www.recruitingblogs.com/group/linkedin. Adding the button is not required to be a member of the group but it does make it easier to participate.

Here's how: Go to LinkedIn
Click “My Profile”
Scroll down to “Public Profile Setting”
Click “Promote your profile”
Pick a button, copy the code

Go to Recruiting Blogs
Click “My Page”
Find “Your RecruitingBlogs.com Box”
Click “Edit”
Create a “Title”, I used “MN Headhunter on LinkedIn”
Paste code from LinkedIn
Click “Save”

LinkedIn seems to have disabled their link on the profile page, but it's still accessible:
