What draws you back to a recruiting blog?

Hi all,

I've decided to take the plunge and start a blog and trying to decide what to focus on. There's a lot of recruiting blogs out there, all different styles and tones. I'd love to get people's opinions on what they like about the ones they visit often. What do you want in a recruiting blog?

Thanks for any thoughts on this!

I work with THE CHAD and I'm always challenging him to offer a crystal ball of sorts as to what the future will hold like 2 years down the road. Bill Warren uses his blog to sort of explain what we're doing at the DEA which is kind of cool. I guess I'm more akin to what the future holds.

My two shekels.

Hey Pam, You should check out Amitai Givertz's page here on Recruitingblogs.com http://www.recruitingblogs.com/profile/Recruitomatic

It is very interesting how he has developed a plan and how he utilizes the many blogs out there. It may not be obvious right but have a good look.

I would focus on what interests you

Pam when you were on The Recruiting Animal Show I had the impression that you were a confident person with strong opinions. That's what you should talk about. If you can't think of what to write look at another blog and when you see something that provokes you, write about it not in the comments but on your blog with a trackback to the first one.

Shukron,
Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out THE CHAD too and added it to my list.
Jason, thanks too for the link, have been poking around and Amitai has a ton of great info.
Recruiting Animal, love the idea to do trackbacks, thank you. I definitely do have strong opinions. :) It's finding the balance of how much opinion vs. straight content that I'm wondering about.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it!
