I am seeking to confirm information (which I already have) pertaining to who is backing the conference.

Surely there is a reason for the tight information security.

I believe Shally is involved as an adviser, can anyone confirm ?

I believe Leslie (whom I admire) is a central cog in the machine and given what I believe I know about her that is a plus.

I would not be surprised if Rob is strategically involved.

Jim - you know something, I saw your "Recruiters Lounge" interview and based on your expression....you do know something :)

In the absence of solid information, one can only speculate and I prefer not to operate in that space.

I think the concept is outstanding and an opportunity for Research/Sourcing to move itself forward as a profession (and it is), unify our voice, professionally develop and educate ourselves. Very excited about the possibilities.

Here are my thoughts: whoever is behind SourceCon obviously wants it to remain a secret at this point. So I believe that anyone who is claiming to be a part of the orchestration is, in fact, not behind it.

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if their sourcing challenge #3 turns out to be finding who is behind SourceCon.

Thank you - that validates Shally...per what I was told by a source from behind the veil of silence. It's a good marketing strategy..peaking interest. Gotta give it to them..market,market,market. Leslie is listed on the site so she is confirmed. I think there are probably about 2 more power hitters in the circle.

How could Shally not be involved with this.

To clear some of the air somewhat, we can not officially come out and say who all the people are behind SourceCon as some of the key member have requested anonymity because of their professional or personal situation (In other words they hold down day jobs).

I can not confirm or deny that the 3rd challenge will be who is behind SoureCon, but will discuss with a few key members of Secret Society of Sourcers, as it would make an interesting Grand Final Challenge at the event itself.

SourceCon1

ps. Opps, did I make a typo error again :-)

Thank you all powerful, mighty and mystical OZ....

I cannot confirm or deny that this is shrouded in secrecy...and that is okay by me.

I'll be there to unraveled this knot a bit further in person.
