Wwo. Sometimes, folks don't know if we don't tell them.
I had a candidate who, upon completion of her interview and while still standing in the presence of the client and in that person's office, proceeded to disrobe. She had asked permission to do a "quick change" before her return flight. The client (a woman) graciously agreed, expecting maybe a simple change of shoes or removal of a suit jacket. Suffice it to say that a) she didn't expect the Full Monty, and b) it was too late for meaningful feedback at that point (even if the client hadn't been rendered speechless).
Don't you love this business?? --Chris
OMG......I'm sure we all have similar stories.
Chris, that person has serious issues and should be treated asap. Seriously. Wow.
Fortunately I knew/know the client very well; in fact, I had placed her in her position with that company. So truth be told, we had a good laugh over it even though it was somewhat embarrassing for me. I had worked with this candidate for some time prior to this sendout but honestly never saw this coming. People will never run out of ways to exhibit bizarre behavior. We're ingenious in that way.
