I set up a way to search LinkedIn and Yahoo groups for school and company alumni groups. I will be adding other sources of groups in the near future.

Alumni groups either for companies or schools is a great place to find possible candidates or to post jobs often at no cost.

Many allow recruiters to join even if they did not attend the school or work at the company but check with the moderator.

To use, simply type in the name of the school or company into the box. It searches Yahoo and LinkedIn groups. When you do a search profiles that are alumni are often listed. If so simply go into the profile and click on the group.
