I found this post most hilarious as I read similar news items the year I started in the industry, 2002. The comments I read from recruiters then are identical to the comments I read in 2002.

Please allow me to elborate. Fees for recruiters who are new to the industry or who fail to differientiate themselves by carving out a niche of expertise will always be vulnerable to price. If you want to stay in this industry long term and be successful, there is only one way to do it. Become a specialist in a very narrow niche. It reduces your competition and helps you develop stronger relationships with your clients.
