When people are out looking for work they can sometimes get down on themselves and recruiters can forget about the impact they can have on the people they come into contact with. Being a positive influence on others can help you to be the kind of person that others want to be around. Give yourself every opportunity to turn the relationships you have and your network into your next testimonial, client, candidate, or career move. An enthusiastic person typically has some good news, a warm greeting, a funny story, an optimistic viewpoint. It's a joy to see people who are "good news" coming your way. They bring a smile to your face!

Are you "good news?" Were you good news to the last hiring manager you spoke to today or the candidate who reached out to you because they are searching for a new opportunity? Are you "good news" by your attitude, your speech, your style or approach?

Someone you will meet today will need a little bit of sunshine. Someone you meet today may not have just closed that big deal they were expecting, or had an interview they were counting on get canceled. To be "good news" to someone is a privilege and a responsibility. Be the person who takes an extra step to bring some good news to somebody each day.

Remember that what goes around, comes around...

Make it happen!

Well said! The staffing business is a simple business but a hard business. Maintaining a positive attitude helps keep everyone else positive. Remember "your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude." May Kay Ash, May Kay Cosmetics, said it best...Make everyone you meet feel important and not only will you succeed in sales, you will succeed in life...and help others succeed as well. You are absolutely right Craig, what goes around, comes around...life is a boomerang. Our thoughts, deeds and words return to us sooner or later. Give your best and the best will come back to you! Thanks Craig.
