Seems as if LinkedIn Answers is highly cited in the recruiter space as the place where one can ask questions and receive answers from the enlightened ones. There are also Forums here as well as on ERE, the spawn of David Manaster's parents.

But for the job seeking, employment questioning, recruiter loathing bourgeois - actually questions about anything, there's Ask Metafilter. Being a recruiter, I enjoy reading questions and answers pertaining to jobs and work.

Whether you agree with them, answers are very honest and reflect in many cases, media lore rather than fact. It's great to be able to assert that someone's analytical skills are top notch after you've behaviorally and cognitively drilled downed during an interview - I hope you've done this rather than used your innate sniffing abilities (another blog topic down the line) but the essence of people is rarely uncovered during the process.

I like reading these from time to time to remind myself about what's behind the glossy resumes and business suits.

[Ask Metafilter requires a $5 PayPal initial donation which I think is reasonable for such great content]
