Bullhorn just published its annual staffing survey report that provides an in-depth view of what recruiting professionals think about 2012 firm performance, recruiting best practices, perceived risk factors, and compensation.
Seventy percent of survey takers report that their firms either met or exceeded their 2011 revenue goal, while a whopping ninety-six percent believe their firm’s revenue will increase in 2012. Compensation for recruiting professionals in 2011 was $136,385, up slightly from $131,851 in 2010. And again in 2011, the split of staffing firms reporting increasing fees versus reducing fees was nearly 50/50, indicating that pricing in some recruiting sub-segments may still be more elastic than in others. It will be interesting to see how a rising economy may change firms’ approach to fees.
