Did you ever engage a candidate who is likely to defect after taking your offer? Almost every seasoned recruiter would have come across this situation many times yet react in a way that it is happening for the first time in life.... I would say incidents like these make recruiters job special and exciting. Across the world at least 10% of candidates drop out after accepting an offer. Any idea how we deal with these situations. As a Recruiter what goes in the mind when you encounter such situation?

I think what stands out is the determination of the Recruiter and his ability to stand emotionally balanced..and of course start the search all over again!!!
