Did you know crypotcurrency, such as bitcoin, has become so big that there is a job fair dedicated to this topic? ERE.net recently highlighted an upcoming Bitcoin Job Fair taking place this May in the Silicon Valley.

Right now, the website for this event says, "Help build bitcoin. An opportunity to work for top companies and startups in the cryptocurrency space. Start earning income in digital currency." Would you even consider paying employees in bitcoins? Just how big is demand for employees with bitcoin skills or interests? To find out, we analyzed hiring trends for bitcoin, cryptocurrency, digital currency, virtual currency, and digital money.

The term "digital currency" appears more often in job ads than "bitcoin" or "cryptocurrency." In March 2014, there were about 1,880 job ads posted online for these terms, a 9% increase over the same time last year, according to WANTED Analytics.
