Change is inevitable; whether its personal, professional, whatever. Change happens! In talent acquisition, it's a way of life so I've made a point of embracing it, but for most of us it's not natural. In fact, it's downright uncomfortable and something most people don't like to do. Simply put, life is easier in our comfort zone because it's a known quantity - a safe place. 

Every now and then, change happens that is not voluntary. That's when you have to take a step back and realize that you've got two options: you can freak out and look at the negatives because you're being thrust out of your comfort zone - or you can choose to stay positive and realize that something good is going to come out of the situation you find yourself in.  

I don't know about you but I choose to look for the silver lining and seek out the good that comes from unexpected circumstances. It is a choice - and once you embrace change, you'll find yourself reaping the benefits of growth and new opportunity.
