I'm excited about a webcast that I will be leading tomorrow for SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) called "FROZEN Out of Talent? Let It Go!" In this session, we will be focused on Recruitment Optimization. Much like SEO (Search Engine Optimization) before it, recruiting has become multi-faceted and more complex with the emergence of social media efforts, video, branding, technological advances, etc. Many companies have found themselves with talent shortages or having to settle for talent that really isn't qualified for the role. As a result, the outsourcing of recruiting (RPO) has become big business. But is there something else that can be done? Are we left to choose between doing it ourselves and settling, or outsourcing our efforts and paying big fees to do so? I believe there is. Recruitment Optimization, and it can be a fast, cost effective fix to many of your troubles.
