Hello.  My name is Melissa and I'm a recruiter.

Hi, Melissa!

I've been recruiting for about nine months now.  I had a friend who got me started on this and now I'm hooked! 

But I've got some problems.  First, I'm new.  Second, my friend who got me into this sees this more of a "lifestyle business" than a career.  She doesn't want to pursue new clients or work on orders that are, you know, actual work.  Third, my newness is causing me (and this may be completely in my head) issues with going out and pursing things on my own.  

So why am I posting?  Well, I've been having lots of thoughts about this industry I've joined.  I know my experience is very limited with the work I've been given, but I want to expand and do so much more!  I've enjoyed reading other posts here and I've learned a lot from them.  I hope that I can offer something of value to the community as well.  I already have several post ideas and I can't wait to share.  :)

Well, enough of the intro.  Time to get back to work!
