I have always felt that it is my responsibility, being in this industry, to be compassionately honest with candidates in order to help guide them in their employment endeavors.  I receive a mix of reactions from those who take my feedback as constructive criticism, and from those who take offense and become hostile. I try to be as kind as possible but with today's shootings, "road rage" and lawsuit mentality, I am questioning whether my candidness with people is the safe thing to do. 

I know that most HR people and Staffing Agencies don't give feedback on anything, but in my opinion, we need too. I am curious to see how others handle candidate feedback and if they say the hard things or just let them wonder why no one will ever hire them...
