Fresh out of college and looking for a good job? Well, getting a job without prior work experience may be a challenge. Thank god for the BPOs; you needn't worry about not being experienced. What’s more some of the BPO jobs rival top multinational company jobs in terms of salaries, perks and other facilities therefore making the industry very lucrative for students just out of college.
Benefits of working in a BPO for college students
Easy to find - There are numerous BPO organizations and finding a BPO job is easy. All that needs to be done is type keywords like 'bank jobs in Delhi' or ‘BPO jobs in Noida’ or ‘latest jobs in Delhi”, etc. into Google and running a search and you’d come up with openings in multiple organizations. You can then compile a list of organizations that you wish to work for and begin getting interviews scheduled for yourself. Non-BPO jobs aren't that easy to find on the contrary.
Bag a great salary at the onset without having any experience - For BPO jobs you don't have to bother about experience. Your qualifications are good enough to get you the job. All you need is the willingness and go-getter attitude and you’ll do great for the job.
Perks and benefits - BPO jobs come with more than just the salary that is offered. Cash incentives, gift cards, health cards, etc. are few of the many additional benefits that one can expect, over and above their salary. Some BPO companies even offer pick up and drop facilities at their own cost.
Insurances - Accident insurance and health insurance is also a part of the CTC when opting for a BPO job which is borne by the company. This saves your insurance expenses.
Differential pay when working on holidays and night shifts - Night shift candidates get a higher pay and working overtime or on holidays gets double a day’s pay. Now this makes working overtime or on holiday’s fun and motivating.
Great learning experience - For someone who is a fresher, a BPO job helps get a taste of the work life experience, honing their skills and making them more responsible citizens.
Flexibility to earn without disrupting studies - For student seeking to pursue further studies in the coming future, it’s only a BPO job that allows the flexibility of being able to earn without hampering studies. Night shifts, leaves during examinations, etc. are some of the ways in which benefits can be extended.
