How to facilitate the contact between 2 recruiters of different countries?

Recruiting the right people for the position you are looking to fill is not an easy task. When doing it internationally, the challenge becomes even bigger, as new issues arise, some of those without a standard solution.

The international recruiting scene is not a new one, yet it is still taking its baby-steps when it comes to regulations, trust, contracts and facilities. There are no common guidelines and international standards to go by, and many recruiters struggle daily to find creative solutions for matching the perfect international candidate for any given job all over the globe.

The Solution and Main Issues

The best recruiting is done face to face, knowing not only the list of work experience and titles the candidate has to show on paper, but to feel the personal vibe, the way the person is, thus being able to place him or her in the right spot on the more personal level.

When recruiting internationally is difficult to do so, as even if you send your number one recruiter to interview overseas, we lack the full knowledge of the culture, local manners and gestures, facial expressions, etc’. Without this vocabulary, the best head-hunter in the country will simply be out of business in a new location outside the country of its origin.

The solution to that, of course, is working with local trustworthy recruiters at the country you choose to recruit in. This gives birth to new challenges, as the intuitive channel - The Internet, may offer risks, for both sides.

Recruiting is almost always paid in contingency, ‘No Win, No Fee’. If you approach some international company asking for assistance recruiting in their country, it is difficult for them to go to work for you, as they need to trust you to pay at the end of the process.

That is one of the main reasons many recruiters still go through the inefficient tiring process of fishing their way through the social networks.

The Solutions:

  1. Signed Contract - in a complex expansive procedure, hoping the energy and money invested in it will pay off in the end of the day.
  2. 3rd Party Professional Website - to leverage the power of a well trusted website that works only with well credited recruiters all over the world, making sure your contacts are high-end, well established recruiters.

The second solution is available in the form of a website offering international recruiting solutions for the high-tech businesses which facilitates the contact between recruiters from various countries.

A website with a user friendly environment, a fast and efficient search engine, and appropriate numbers of both recruiters and candidates can make the process of finding the best match into a simple task, even in the most remote of countries.

It is so true. There is nothing like understanding the culture and seeing the person face to face in early stages.
