And @animal, @paris22, and others, have also RT my blog. I am honored and humbled by this. I launched my blog this week. I've been talking about HR topics and questions close to my heart like, "Why is HR so hard on itself" -- "H1N1 is Your HR Department Prepared" and "Your Recruiter Does Not Work For You,"-- ok...ok...I get it. I'm new at this. I have a lot to learn, like how to list this blog on my blog roll (still trying to figure that one out, and how to cross reference and get google to link to me). I need a blog coach and mentor. I'm excited to be here on this site. It's great to be a part of this group. I'm happy to be on the newly formed HR Media Team. I'm looking forward to going to HRevolution. I'm pumped that after one press release, and a phone call, I got a reporter from the Fox station in Louisville interested in doing a story for HRev!

Yesterday, I received a wonderful handwritten thank you note from Senator Sherrod Brown for the volunteer work I've been doing here in Cincinnati, and an acknowledgment from @Paul22 Paris volunteering for his jobseekers website. I was just invited to be a board member for Heartprints.org-which is a source for mentoring, jobs and outreach. I believe in being a steward of my community, and I look forward to getting to know you! Thanks for welcoming me into your community.
