These questions that I am about to recommend may need to be fit to the type of job that you are interviewing for.
The first question is:
Can you be so kind to share with me one mistake you have made in your current or past job, how did you resolve it and what did you learn from the mistake?
Now why ask this particular question? Well, the question requires the job applicant being interviewed to use specific work related examples and it also demonstrates their ability to solve the problem, and to make decisions under stress.
In some circumstances, mistakes cannot be fixed, as we all know. But whether or not a mistake is fixable or not, the question also gives you the opportunity to understand what they have learned from the mistake.
Question number 2
Hypothetical question.
It has been two years since I hired you in ____________when you look back on your job responsibilities, in what ways would you measure your success?
The goal with this question is to determine how well the interviewees understands your job requirements, applicants need to share with you how they can specifically add value to your job based on their overall experience.
Question number 3 is:
What would you think your current employeee say about your work performance your attention to detail, and your commitment to the job?
This question can give you a sense of how honest and how self aware the candidate is about their work experience. When I actually call to verify the references, I will share the employees feedback with their supervisor and ask them to confirm the employees assessment of their own skills.
Well, this is my advice just remember:
A great interview performance is built on knowing three key things:
• What to expect
• How to perform
• How to present yourself
Hope you find your candidate!
