I've just joined recruitingblogs.com and am so happy that a network exists for networking with fellow recruiters. Unfortunately today was the day that the recession made a direct impact on me, I was laid off due to budgets/cutbacks, etc. I would very much like to network with fellow recruiters in my position to put our heads together and effectively survive this recession. I am a senior technical recruiter who has worked in agency settings both as a recruiter and a recruiting manager. I am planning a relocation to Central Texas from the sunny Northeast this year and I am looking for a virtual position. I would appreciate any leads that anyone may know about. If I can help anyone with ideas or recruiting info about Northern NJ, please don't hesitate to ask.
