Java recruiting

I am recruiting for a Java developer. Why do they seen scarce?
Every one is a microsoft developer.
I have found a few but nothing like I expected..

Really? Where are you looking? What tools are you using?
Where is the position based?
Have you checked out Java User Groups? If this is a role you recruit for on a regular basis, then buying pizzas for the group may be a good investment.
