I like how Christie's is handling the recession; they've created a new business unit to sell corporate works of art. The rationale is that with balance sheets requiring more trips to the proverbial Home Depot, companies may be looking to sell their art. Someone at Chrtistie's sure is thinking.

Let's look at how companies and agencies have recruited and see if they can use their existing intellectual assets to create new opportunities:

Corporate recruiters might want to look at ways to improve their organization's succession planning process

Agency recruiters might want to look at ways to adapt their sourcing processes to help companies generate sales leads

Just another way of taking the lemons you've been given and turning them into grape juice.
