We started off trying to answer the question "what can I be when I grow up?" and quickly moved into "How do I change my career?" We came up with a solution and put it into play.

The concept is simple. take 10 million resume's, explode them into milestones (I was a dishwasher, then I was a salesman, and then I was a senior salesman, now I am a CEO) and put this progression into a massive "map" of career data. I can now show the shortest path between careers.

more importantly for Recruiters ... I can now show people that are qualified for a job that none of your current tools will find.

we need people to help us. We find ourselves in a bit of a chicken and egg scenario. We have all this data, but not enough active users. Active users are hard to find when there are no active jobs on the site.

We are willing to offer EVERYONE a free month on the site. Please come, post your jobs, and help us get some traffic. Anyone who can bring in some members for us, we will give away a full year ($10,000 CAN value). The more resumes we can get the better the value of the map is. Career Builder did this and overtook Monster in 2 years.

We also need feedback. We are begining to design Phase III of the site. Phase III was all about Recruiter tools. What can we do to make this site Recruiter friendly? We are serious about wanting to build the BEST job site on the internet.
