myStaffingPro has teamed up with the
EmploymentGuide.com Job Fair series, "Putting America Back to Work," by offering free applicant tracking system technology.
The job fair series is aimed at helping 10,000 Americans
find jobs. Only companies that have immediate hiring needs are invited to participate in the job fairs, which are free and open to all job seekers. There are currently
more than 50 job fairs scheduled.
“EmploymentGuide.com approached us with the opportunity to help put Americans back to work through providing applicant tracking technology for the job fairs," Ruth Ann Stover, director of sales and marketing at myStaffingPro, said in a press release. "The opportunity was an obvious decision.
"Our technology allows companies to review applicant information faster so that they can make the best use of their time at the job fair," Stover continued. "We are pleased to be able to help match applicants and companies in this difficult time."
The technology will help EmploymentGuide.com to better keep track of everyone attending the job fairs.
“The spreadsheet with the applicant's name, e-mail and phone number was very useful as well as the pdf file that included the copy of the applicant's resume and the information about how they learned of the job fair," Lyle Stone, general sales manager for EmploymentGuide.com, said. "This is much simpler on our part.
"We originally were asking job seekers to e-mail their resume to us and we then burned all of them on CDs that we gave to the recruiters," Stone added. "The time involved in collecting the resumes and burning the CDs was a drain on our small office. This new format is a wonderful time saver. Thanks to myStaffingpro for their wonderful product.
