Supposedly the economy is getting better, but it’s going to take a long time to get where we need to be.  As of April 1, 2011, the unemployment rate is at 8.8%.  That means 13.5 million people are without jobs! Unfortunately, jobs are not being created.  Instead, many companies are finding ways to have their employees take on extra tasks.  A lot of people are asking how they are going to find a job in this economy, and not just any job, but one that they are qualified for and would actually enjoy.

That’s where recruiters come to the rescue!  Recruiters have information about companies that are hiring and have already developed relationships with people at the company.  Rather than just going on job sites and randomly applying to all job positions that seem like they would be a good fit, recruiters can help you find the position that you are most qualified for!  Plus, 80% of jobs are not advertised using traditional methods.  The best thing you can do is to make sure your resume is up to date and looks professional.  A recruiter will keep your information on file until you find a position.  Recruiters will continuously try to help you find a position that matches your skill set.
