YOU GUYS. So far we've had two speakers and they are not even the ones that I am excited about. (sorry, I'm new LOL) 

We're off to an amazing start and I can't believe how much I've learned just in the first hour.

Joel Spolsky led off with engineering must haves and how recruiters blow it. More to come on that. Oh, and the Joel Test.

Does your company pass? 

Next, we heard from Jeff Newburn, AKA The Professor from Zappos talking about Code Academy and why mentors matter. What I love most about the speakers so far is these are technical people. It's for experienced recruiters to talk about how we should approach developers or why we suck.

Hearing it from people running with our target audience though, is priceless.
