The One Year Itch

If you've passed the one year mark in your current job, you might recognise a few of these situations..
.

1, You've successfully found someone in the office that you’re able to “lean on” like the mob to get them to do things, without them knowing you were ever involved.. They think it’s all their idea.

2, You have made at least one ally that you can depend on to suggest an alcoholic stress reliever, fully aware that it will lead to absolute debauchery on a school night.

3, There has been a contemplation in your head regarding an office romance, even if the intended is at best a 6 because you’re a prisoner in your own office.

4, You can sense at what time of the month it is due to all the women in the office start to turn into “The Exorcist” an you are adamant you saw Julie from reception head spin round & she projectile vomited when you asked for a favour.

5, You've accepted the fact that Shirley from accounting will find out EVERYTHING so you don’t even bother lying to her.. She is all seeing, all knowing.. Like God.

6, Your deals are celebrated less… You find yourself on Amazon pricing up a gong just to                                                                  regain recognition.

7, You can suss out a waste of space Candidate from a mile off and find yourself having to hold back the ugly truth on the tip of your tongue whenever in contact with them.

8, Having a terrible quarter an considering selling your Nan just to get a god damn deal!

9, You've seen the guys that have been here for 7 years an can see what you’re in for (Can anyone say premature balding & a paunch?)

10, You've scared yourself at least once by taking a moment at your desk on a Monday morning and thinking “SHIT I could get used to this forever”
