The procrastination of the job search ...seminar

No, I'm not looking for a new job. I like where I am, and I'm reasonably secure, so I'm sticking around.

However, about a month ago, I looked into offering a job searching seminar at one of the local library branches. It seemed like a good idea (which came from the owner), so I contacted the library. Well, within days I had set up a meeting at the library, selected an appropriate room (well, auditorium), booked dates (as my little seminar turned into three three-hour long seminars in the same week), and approved the "advertising" (a poster).

Of course, I didn't actually start planning these seminars. Considering that I've never done this before, it might have been a good idea to get a jump on it.

I have ten days until the first seminar - a lot of time, but not a whole lot of time. I should probably start preparing.

Oh, and they would like the presentation to include PowerPoint. I hate using PowerPoint.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

(Maybe my first lesson should be on the dangers of procrastination.)
