thinking "out of the box" to conduct candidate searches

can anyone give me some ideas on how they have tried "out of the box" thinking and were successful at finding candidates other than job fairs, posting, linkedin and referrals? Our company is seeking Inside Sales Reps and having difficulty finding the qualified candidates.

Try user groups. http://iusergroups.com/findgroup.cfm, http://groups.yahoo.com/ .
Try Twitter jobs http://www.twitjobsearch.com/ if you sign in you can post there also.
Try internet boolean searches, alumni boards, Blogs, Craig's list(yes believe it or not)
I might have other ideas if I knew more about the type of inside sales reps and the qualifications, but that is a start.

A great question, What I think that start approaching the talent assessment firms, who are proactively coming up with advanced technology to gauge the talent in a right direction through online tests. This approach would be cost-effective and will produce the results in a timely manner. Good Luck:)
