Top 10 Facebook Timeline Covers of Recruitment Companies

While conducting our research in time for our Facebook Pages Timeline: Essential Workshop for Recruiters event last Friday, we came across a number of Facebook pages of recruitment companies that had rather lovely Timeline covers. We also came across the 99% of company pages that haven't yet migrated to Timeline before the March 30th deadline (if your company page is one of them and you're in Dublin on Friday morning, then click hereto register for our free workshop), so needless to say this was a difficult task to find 10 of the best out there!

It must be noted now that virtually ALL of the major staffing companies haven't updated their page to Timeline, and for those that have, their Timeline Cover lacks imagination.

If you believe your Facebook page has been overlooked and deserves a mention, then leave your page address in the comments!

Here's our top 10 Timeline Covers of Recruitment & Staffing Companies on Facebook:

Number 10: Denham Resources

This cover image is of the Denham Resources competition winners who won cash prizes for Fantasy Football - it's not professionally taken, it's in poor light, but it's true and honest and a really great happy moment in their company! Excellent for employer branding and fan-page likability.

Number 9: Ajilon Professional Staffing

This one from Ajilon Professional Staffing made it to the list for it's professionalism, corporate harmony, and strong branding. The image is engaging and their Timeline cover image doesn't mention their company name once, so it engages nicely with their Profile Thumbnail image. Good work!

Number 8: StaffingWise

This cover image from StaffingWise is again linked to their website and corporate branding, transferring easily to Timeline. It demonstrates their corporate aims of placing "certified applicants", guaranteeing a level of quality to their clients, and again the image is engaging (pretty-looking, smiling women tend to be both easy on the eye and more friendly).

Number 7: Sigmar Recruitment

This Timeline Cover from Sigmar Recruitment is a wholly engaging image of their Recruitment team, out on the steps at the front of their office. It gives a personal touch which is what Facebook is all about. Facebook Timeline is about personality and engagement, and this cover image surely demonstrates that.

Number 6: Lloyd Staffing

This Timeline Cover from Lloyd Staffing makes it in to the list for its corporate harmony and general message - the image of people talking to one another is quite indicative of how people network with others, in corridors outside offices and chatting informally. I also quite like their thumbnail image of the outside of their office building. While that specific thumbnail is virtually invisible in page-fans' newsfeed (the image gets shrunk to something very tiny), it's still a nice gesture.

Number 5: Adecco Staffing Services

This is one of the only major corporate Recruitment and Staffing companies to have migrated to Timeline and put in a worthwhile cover image. The image is corporate, full of people and faces and doing jobs that Adecco actively recruit for. If there's a negative it's their Profile Thumbnail, which is too small and their slogan "Better work, better life" could have been incorporated in to the main Cover image instead because it's absolutely invisible to the naked eye in page-fans' newsfeed. Shame, it was all going so well!

Number 4: Manpower

Speaks for itself - it's big, bold, impossible to ignore and delivers a lovely message. Remembering that recruitment is all about people, I love the choice of words here which delivers as much engagement as a picture of a person would. Love it.

Number 3: Integrity Staffing Solutions

What's so nice about this image is that it's so personal - they're real people, they're all smiling, even the lady in the bottom right is making a heart-shape with her hands. It's great. Plus their thumbnail is effective too - when viewed in a page-fan's newsfeed, it's strong and it's followed by the name of the page which is in comparatively larger text. Adecco take note.

Number 2: Elwood Staffing

Again, colourful, smiley, happy, full of people - and it's a great representation of their motto "The better people, people". Just for how this image makes us feel here in Social Talent towers we've put it at number 2.

Number 1: Priority Staffing

Need we explain why? It's just great, full stop. And cute as hell. Well done guys!

Thanks Linda but it looks as if you haven't yet published your new Timeline Page so we cannot see this. Can you publish and let us know when it is live? Looking forward to seeing it

Thanks Linda, Timeline is now published but the image is just a snapshot of your webpage (which I assume is not what you intended to publish!)
