Recruiting platforms such as Crowd Recruiting are freelance recruiting 'marketplaces'. They require supply and demand or in other words jobs and candidates and they require recruiters on both ends of the transaction to have a general 'trust' in and for each other.
That said, we often hear questions such as:
"Will the candidate's recruiter steal my client?"
or on the flip side
"Will the hiring recruiter steal my candidate?"
Both are valid questions but in a marketplace, the assumption has to be "no".
Ebay for example is a marketplace. It requires buyers and sellers to have "trust" that the other party is operating in good faith. Those that don't are given a bad rating for others to see and will ultimately drive down the trust factor for the one not operating in good faith. This same practice has to occur in any online marketplace and fortunately Crowd Recruiting already has a rating system in place.
Is a rating enough though?
We believe that it's not enough and that in order to really have trust, you also need to have a relationship. In the online world this can be achieved through frequent communication via email or by building rapport through a call or even a video conference. That is why Crowd Recruiting recently launched their online communication platform that allows all registered employers and recruiters to communicate through:
Now an employer or recruiter in Boston can instantly communicate with a recruiter in India by clicking a button and starting a video conference call. Within seconds, they can start building trust and gain confidence in the relationship itself.
Crowd Recruiting has enabled this functionality through the online platform at http://www.crowdrecruiting.com and also through a downloadable desktop messenger for both PC and MAC. As a leader in the hr technology space, Crowd Recruiting is leading the field of communication and collaboration by allowing recruiters to build relationships in real time and ultimately place more candidates. Trust shouldn't be an issue in working in a digital economy and we're happy to say we've once again solved that problem.
