Wow, so much I could say! Thankfully, humility is not always required to be a Smart Recruiter. So without further ado, 5 things that make me a Smart Recruiter.

1, Understanding this is a business of People and not of Paper. That everyone hates working but you can love your job. That there is a tushie for every seat, and you never know who you might be able to help find their next opportunity.

2. Doing my best to stay on the cutting edge of what we do for a living, like say, participating on RBC, connecting to Dave Mendoza, and reading Steve Levy's Blogs.

3. Living my life and doing my job as close to Robert Fulghum's rules as possible

4. Always, always always wearing slacks to the office. Also, keeping a very quirky sense of humor

5. Never being afraid to pick up the phone, send an email, or eat meat from a street cart vendor in NYC.
