Top VC Firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers' Green Tech portfolio companies are hiring! Of 29 companies in the portfolio, 19 have a total of 324 open green jobs in the US.

Bloom Energy ranks first with 53 open positions, followed by Enphase Energy with 39 and Amyris Biotechnologies with 35.

The middle of the pack includes Amonix (30), Hara Software (29), OPower (28), RecycleBank (19), Lilliputian Systems (17), Harvest Power(14), MiaSole(13), SilverSpring Networks (10), UpWind Solutions (9), Aquion Energy (7), Transphorm (7), Primus Power (4), Lehigh Technologies (3), Mascoma (3), Renmatix (2) and Verdiem (2).

Trailing the pack, with no open positions are Altarock Energy, GreatPoint Energy, Luca Technologies and Sundrop Fuels.

Despite raising $1 billion, Fisker Automotive is having a hard time advertising its open positions. None are mentioned on its website, and conflicting numbers from various reports, press releases, and data from the State of Delaware put the number of open positions at between 40 and 120 for a manufacturing facility it acquired from GM in Delaware.

Of the 29 companies in the KPCB Green Tech portfolio, The Green Job Bank included 25 in its study, and left 4 out: Ausra was acquired by Areva. Kotak is based in India, and we limited our study to American jobs. Glori Energy and NEOS GeoSystems are not considered "green" companies by the Green Job Bank because they provide services to the Oil industry.

Finally, even though GMZ Energy recently announced that it received funding from Kleiner Perkins as part of its series C, we couldn't find any mention of the company on the Kleiner Perkins' website. GMZ has currently 8 open positions.
