Despite indications that employee engagement levels remain quite low these days, the response to SL8Z HR Pulse Survey has restored our faith in the greater HR community at large. With a response rate of nearly 25%, we’ve collected enough data to develop the first “HR Recruitability Index”. This index shows how active HR professionals will be in the job market in 2015. This first post sets the demographic context for the survey.
The chart below is a breakdown of respondents based upon their functional specialty. Given SL8Z is a recruiting marketplace it comes as no great surprise that half of the respondents to our survey are within the talent acquisition specialty with HR Generalist coming in with a close second.
It is very gratifying to see that over 70% of respondents are in fact, in leadership positions. Over 30% are at upper end of the HR organizational chart.
Big Tech Companies
The 2 charts below clearly show that SL8Z network clearly hail from large technology companies.
The results of the survey are incredibly fascinating. Our next post will delve into more of the “meat” of the survey. Included in that post will be the average tenure of the respondents as well as how satisfied they are with not only their current employer, but more importantly, how satisfied they are in their current role. The results will most likely surprise you!
