Let me tell everyone, and I mean this sincerely: After watching John present, the depth of his statements are so rich that they take a moment to digest. I was absolutely impressed and recommend more get out to see him in person.

As I stated to John at Kennedy, I see the world more representing an array of interconnecting circles (groups, locales, nations, continents, relationships, etc.) that are continuously morphing as a result of internal and external stimuli . . . but the notion of an inverted pyramid is profound and deserves deep discussion. There is much to be gleamed from this observation . . .

Due to our own backgrounds, professional experience, existentialism, etc., we all have different takeaways of speeches and presentations such as John's above. The following was mine:

John made mention that recruiting has become so localized that looking at issues domestically or internationally yields little to no benefit. I couldn't agree more - the market in Omaha is very different than that of Atlanta, which is different than that of San Francisco or NYC . . . I would take this one step further and say that recruiting is more than just localized . . . it is community-ized. Communities are often localized as well . . . but can exist due to parallel attitudes & behaviors (psychographics), despite geographic proximity.
