I gotta say - she's on point with what she's suggesting. At what point did Internal Recruitment (I'd say 'HR', but they never really ever knew) forget that you have to CREATE MEANING with the candidate pool (or 'engage')??? I mean, with this last 18-mth push toward 'Process Improvement', 'Recruitment Efficiency Improvement' and the overhyped focus on Name-Generation, somebody forget that this is all about human interaction, first and foremost. All I can say is Wow, what is happening? More steps and more cogs doesn't equal anything but higher throughput . . . I mean, what ever happened to a focus on Quality-of-Hire?
