Google+ Traffic Slows After Public LaunchFrom Mashable.com
Traffic to Google+ spiked 1,200% in the first few days following its public launch Sept. 20, but has since declined 60%, according to a report from a data analytics company. 

As an early adopter of Google+, I would say that it is too restrictive and impersonal. The circles system makes it difficult to reach out for networking purposes, in which case people will fall back to LinkedIn and the fact that all information is public makes it too impersonal, giving it no shot against the mundane daily updates we've all come to expect from our Facebook friends.

Amazing the drop in G+....judging from my activity stream I seem to agree with these findings. The shiny new factors appears to have worn off a bit.

I think the shiny new factors might have been the problem, plus the stop and start nature. People have enough stuff to keep up with online that they are hesitant to learn a new tool and then you open it to the public, close it, open it by invite, then open it... enough!

I don't think it can come back from this drop.
