I owned my own staffing company for 22 years specializing in accounting and some administrative -

and you know something - after being retired for 2 years now I seem like I forgot how I ever opened my first company ....I almost don't think I would know how to do it again....I miss it - I miss the people, the excitement - of course the revenue - but I know the staffing business is still slow but here in Texas you hear the Governor saying how great business is and jobs are being filled - well I don't really think so - but I would sure accept some ideas from anyone that would tell me how to strart up again - slow this time - not like 22 years ago maybe even out of my home - or I wouldn't mind being a virtual recruiter for some company. Perhaps you can start there and reach out to see how their organization is doing and inform them that you are working on some niche searches and would be open to offering your assistance. Perhaps a warm call will help you fall back into the groove. If that does not work- perhaps networking with former colleagues would present a virtual sourcer position. There is always room for more in the trenches, so best of luck to you in moving forward and jumping back into the pool.
